RENT  School Edition -  is being performed by Playhouse's Summer Stage Teens, who are extremely creative, talented, and have worked very hard to bring this story to all of you.  The story follows the year in the life of a group of impoverished young artists and musicinas struggling to survive and create in New York's Lower East Side, under the dark shawdo of HIV/AIDS. The physical and emotional complications of the disease pervade the lives of Roger, Mimi, Tom, and Angel.  This is a LGBTQI+ storyline reccommend 16 year old maturity.
